Pacific Brands Limited announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire the Peri business. Peri designs, sources and distributes a range of premium bed linen that is sold through department and specialty stores in Australia and a number of export markets. Peri is a specialty business that complements our existing product range and extends our offer in the bedding accessories market.

Commenting on the acquisition, Pacific Brands' CEO Mr Paul Moore said, “We are very pleased to have acquired the Peri brand. Although small, Peri fits well with our recent Sheridan acquisition and further strengthens our position in the premium bed linen market. The acquisition is consistent with Pacific Brand's strategy of growing earnings through strategic, branded bolt-on acquisitions.”

Pacific Brands manages “Everyday Essential Brands”, marketing some of the most recognised brands across Australia and New Zealand including Actil, Berlei, Bonds, Clarks, Dunlop, Everlast, Grosby, Holeproof, Hush Puppies, KingGee, Sheridan, Slazenger, Sleepmaker and Tontine.

Pacific Brands' commitment to market leadership has provided it with number one or two positions across its major product categories in Australia and New Zealand which include underwear, socks, intimate apparel, hosiery, footwear, bedding, bedding accessories and foams.
