The Board of Directors of RG Barry Corporation on Wednesday named President and CEO Greg Tunney to a newly created seat on the Board.
Tunney joined the company in February and his appointment as a director was required under the terms of his employment contract.
Tunney, 45, is the former president and chief operating officer of the Phoenix Footwear Group Inc. Prior to that, he was Vice President and National Sales Manager with Brown Shoe Co and a merchandising executive for May Department Store Co. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and of Harvard University's Executive Management Program.

RG Barry Corporation's Dearfoams brand is the best-known name in the accessories footwear category. Its slippers are sold throughout North America under a variety of brand names in traditional, promotional and national chain department stores, discount stores, warehouse clubs, specialty retailers and catalogs.
RG Barry Corporation also is the licensee for Liz Claiborne, Claiborne and LizWear slippers.
