Exhibitors were equally enthusiastic, such as Allen Strang from Chilli Pepper "we had the best ever first day at Pure on Sunday. We had a great morning, especially after other international trade shows having taken place, we found that the British buyers for us were here at Pure.
The independents were out in force and there was a good quality of retailers here. Often at shows they look, but yesterday people wanted to sit down to see forward order and see flash collections to buy. This is our home market, Pure is very important to us. As a brand owner I never miss a show, and I never miss out on Pure.
Lyn Burns, Managing Director of Spencer & Rutherford raved 'the girls have working been non-stop. The stand has been busy yesterday and today. The people attending are ordering and we have picked up many new accounts. Our clients include Fenwick, Mckillens in Northern Ireland and Ruth Pharmacies, a returning customer.'
'Buyers are responding to our newsletters and the Pure invitations. We are positioned on a busy corner and our luggage range is so eye-catching. Pure is getting better and stronger, and I know, as I have been attending since the beginning ten years ago.'
Stefania Sassi, Area Manager for Liu-Jo also enthused Sunday was amazing, we didn't have time to stop for a minute and we expect it to be the same today. We took orders from new and existing buyers, we were showing two lines with customers putting in double orders. We like the stand position in Spirit as we are a young brand and it fits in with our target.
We didn't promote our presence in London compared to other shows and we have been so busy. Pure is really important for us to get into the UK market. In other shows we show for Public Relations - at Pure we take orders!
