A Chinese company contrived fabrics out of milk. To produce the fiber, liquid milk is dried and its proteins extracted. The separated proteins are then liquified in a chemical solution and placed into a machine that spins the fibers together then the fibers can be spun into yarn and woven into fabric.

Piscotta Cashmere, a company in New York is selling clothes like milk cloth T-shirts, pants, camisoles and eye masks to shoppers online and to boutiques across the country. Magaschoni, a luxury knitwear brand introduced a sweater made of knitted milk.

The fabric created from it is breathable, grasp the dye properly and gives a luxurious touch.

Only the affluent class can afford the milk dress.
