British fashion designer opens a new shop in New York

Fashion designer Paul Smith officially opened the Greene Street shop with a fantastic party on Thursday 9th November.
It was a great success bringing in a great crowd of designers, architects and a host of New York's best and most well known creative's, notably the "Devil wears Prada" and "Sex and the City" stylist Patricia Field, major editor Nicoletta Santoro with her husband, established photographer, Max Vadukul, renowned photographer Christopher Makos plus the UK's favourite chef Jamie Oliver.
Today there are 12 different collections; Paul Smith, Paul Smith Women, PS by Paul Smith, Paul Smith Jeans, Paul Smith London, R.Newbold (Japan only), Paul Smith Accessories, Paul Smith Shoes, Paul Smith Fragrance, Paul Smith Watches, Paul Smith Pens and Paul Smith furniture and 'things'.
Paul Smith rugs, china, spectacles and fragrance are made under license.
