'Spirit' of Indian Terrain to embrace Reliance stores!

Reliance Retail and the Rs75-crore menswear brand Indian Terrain from Celebrity Fashions Ltd are developing an exclusive brand of apparel called 'Spirit'.
This brand will retail only through Reliance hypermarkets.
There will be shirts and trousers only in the portfolio. This product will be developed to give its purchaser an international experience.
Celebrity Fashions Ltd has established a separate division for this venture and has appointed a new business head.
The brand will penetrate women's wear by creating some innovative products and aims to develop a national brand of Western wear.
Indian Terrain is a major brand in Lifestyle's portfolio and for the last three years remained the number one brand across all its stores.
The brand expects to have 16 exclusive stores by March 2007 and 25 by next year-end.
Reliance intends to develop two-three such brands in formal or casual wear or denim category.
