R.G. Barry Corporation, the Dearfoams company, has rescheduled the announcement its fiscal 2007 second quarter and first half operating results and its subsequent investor conference call and webcast to Tuesday, February 13, 2007 due to the death of Company co-founder Florence Zacks Melton in Boca Raton, Florida, Thursday night.
The Company's offices will close at noon Monday for Mrs. Melton's funeral.
The Company now plans to issue a news release detailing results for the quarter and first half ending December 30, 2006, prior to the market open on Tuesday, February 13, and senior management will then discuss results for the period, the outlook for the remainder of fiscal 2007 and accept questions from participants during a conference call and webcast planned for 11 a.m. Eastern that day.
R.G. Barry Corporation's Dearfoams brand is the best-known name in the accessories footwear category. The Company's footwear is sold throughout North America under a variety of brand names in traditional, promotional and national chain department stores, discount stores, warehouse clubs, specialty retailers and catalogs.
