Liali to display celebrated diamond replicas

Liali Jewellery, one of Dubai's most fashionable jewellery outlets, well-known for its branded and custom-made jewellery, will exhibit an exclusive collection of the world's 20 most treasured diamond replicas for 45 days in Dubai.
These diamond replicas will be displayed at different Liali Jewelry outlets in Dubai and Al Ain from coming Wednesday until April 28, 2007.
The main aim of the exhibition is to highlight the rich tradition of these matchless gems originating from India. These replicas are created using latest laser technology.
The celebrated Koh-i-noor, the canary yellow Moon of Baroda, Sancy the first symmetrical gem, the Blue Maharaja and many other replicas are backed by rich Indian tradition and history will be showcased.
The pear shaped Taylor-Burton diamond which Elizabeth Taylor used to wear, the cursed deep blue Hope Diamond are some other world-renowned gems that will be on display.
