Diamond studded cricket balls as prizes for Cricket World cup 2007

MUMBAI: Mahima Choudhary, bollywood film actress, unveiled two diamond studded cricket balls meant to be prizes for Cricket World Cup 2007, at a function here.
The diamond studded cricket balls are intended to be presented to the best Indian cricketer and the best international player of World Cup 2007 tournament presently being played in West Indies, announced Mehul Choksi, Chairman, Gitanjali Group, at a press conference in Mumbai.
Each ball is made up of 295.6 grams of yellow gold and are studded with 5,728 natural diamonds with a total weight of 31.5 carats.
The diamonds are all square princess cuts measuring 0.90 x 0.90 mm, with H-I colour grades and clarity grades of VS-SI.
Each diamond has been certified by the International Gemological Institute (IGI).
