R.G. Barry Corporation, the Dearfoams company, has promoted designer Neva Kraatz to the newly created position of design manager.
A designer with the Company since 2002, Ms. Kraatz has developed products for many of the company's brand lines, including EZfeet and Dearfoams. In her new role, she will supervise the accessories footwear marketer's team of in-house designers.
“We are quite pleased that Neva has accepted this expanded role,” said Lee Smith, R.G. Barry's Senior Vice President Design and Product Development. “As an extremely talented and respected designer in her own right, we think she is an ideal choice to lead our designers and to manage the many resources necessary for them to accurately translate tomorrow's fashion trends into products that are right for our category.”
Kraatz, who holds a degree in fashion design from the University of Cincinnati, has a long history with the Dearfoams company. She served an internship in its design department while in college and joined the Company as a designer/CAD designer after graduation. Following a stint in Birmingham, Alabama, with Saks Inc as a CAD and assistant intimate apparel designer, she returned to R.G. Barry in 2002 as a designer.
R.G. Barry Corporation, the Dearfoams company, is one of the world's leading developers and marketers of products for the accessories footwear category.
