Tiffany & Co. announced plans to open a new boutique in Matsuzakaya Nagoya flagship store (3-16-1, Sakae Naka-ku Nagoya-shi, Aichi) on September 26. The store is ideally located on Otsu-dori (boulevard) in Sakae, Nagoya-shi, a vibrant area of luxury shopping and restaurants.
The approximately 2,300-square-foot (approximately 65 tsubo) boutique is Tiffany's third Nagoya location, following the Nagoya store at 3-24-17 Nishiki Naka-ku and the JR Nagoya Takashimaya boutique. Mike Christ, Tiffany Japan president, noted, “We are pleased to join the Matsuzakaya Honten in Nagoya and look forward to building a relationship with their loyal clientele.”
Customers will enter the boutique through an elegant stone arch bordered by honey onyx. The interior is distinguished by a dramatic new purple color palette, green sycamore stained hardwood, rice paper wall coverings and newly designed custom furniture.
In addition to a lavish array of diamonds in platinum and eighteen-karat gold settings, the boutique will offer the celebrated collections of exclusive Tiffany designers Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger and Frank Gehry; fine and bridal jewelry; sterling silver and gold fashion jewelry; watches and a selection of gifts.
This new boutique brings the total number of Tiffany's Japan locations to fifty-four.
