Magic inspires fashion community with S/S collections

MAGIC introduced the next evolution of Streetwear at MAGIC, expanding it to include two floors of resources. Additionally, the new “Progressive Streetwear” neighborhood blended art-based cutting edge brands into a retail savvy environment. Additionallly, MAGIC's better men's area was given its own unique environment “White” to showcase some of the best better and casual menswear designers for strong cross-over buying opportunities.
WWDMAGIC was the forum for ESPRIT to unveil a more sophisticated look, and Swim at the Hilton showcased more than 300 swim and resort collections for spring/summer 2008. Eco-fashion was alive at MAGIC kids, with Bindi Wear, the international fashion line of Bindi Irwin (daughter of Steve Irwin, Crocodile Hunter), launching and benefiting environmental and animal causes.
Sourcing at MAGIC continues to be the single largest sourcing event in North America, with more than 900 exhibiting companies this August. Enhancing MAGIC's vertical supply chain offerings was the launch of PRINTSOURCE at MAGIC, offering attending print buyers and designers a glimpse of 40 original print design collections for women's, men's and children's apparel as well as lifestyle and home products.
And across the show floors, more than 500 men's, women's and kid's footwear resources were available, merchandised alongside apparel to showcase a head-to-toe look.
