Valentino confirms Stefano Sassi as Managing Director

The Ordinary Shareholders' meeting of Valentino Fashion Group S.p.A, held in Milan, has appointed the new members of the Board of Directors, who will stay in office for the years 2007, 2008 and 2009, namely: Gianluca Andena, Fabrizio Carretti, Paolo Colonna, Maurizio Dallocchio, Giovanni Ferrario, Gaetano Marzotto, Paolo Carlo Orazio Marzotto, Umberto Carlo Maria Nicodano, Stefano Sassi, Martin Weckwerth.

All the appointed Directors were taken from the sole list submitted by the majority Shareholder Red & Black S.r.l.

Directors Maurizio Dallocchio and Giovanni Ferrario have declared to possess the requisites of independence as per artic le 148, paragraph 3, of Italian Legislative Decree no. 58/1998 (Consolidated Law on Financial intermediation).

The Company's Board meeting held afterwards:
• appointed Umberto Nicodano as Chairman;
• confirmed Stefano Sassi as Managing Director, entrusting him with executive powers;
• acknowledged that Directors Maurizio Dallocchio and Giovanni Ferrario possess the independence characteristics provided for by the Company's Self -regulatory Code;
• appointed Fabrizio Carretti, Maurizio Dallocchio and Giovanni Ferrario as members of
the “Internal Control and Corporate Governance Committee”;
• appointed Gianluca Andena, Maurizio Dallocchio and Giovanni Ferrario as members of the “Remuneration and nomination Committee”.

The C.V. of the Directors are available at the Company's registered office in Milan, the headquarters in Valdagno, as well as on the Company's website. As at the Directors do not hold any shares of the Company.

The Board of Statutory Auditors, whose members are Carlo Domenico Vanoni (Chairman), Michele Paolillo and Enrico Pian, will stay in office until the approval of 2007 annual accounts.
