For three days, one of the world's most beautiful gardens was devoted to international artistic perfumes, with a calendar of events that brought some of the world's greatest fragrance experts to Florence. The event engaged members of the trade, the public and the whole city.
Sunday was the final day of the fifth edition of Fragranze (14-16 September 2007), the only fair of its kind produced by Pitti Immagine in the gardens of Palazzo Corsini: over 100 brands of selective fragrances from the world over were featured at the event.
The success of this edition, that welcomed approximately 1,100 operators, reinforces the levels reached by the previous one, and is further proof of how important Fragranze is as a reference for the world of selective fragrances.
“Fragranze brings the leaders of niche perfumery to Florence,” says Agostino Poletto, Deputy Manager of Pitti Immagine, “and from one edition to the next it has become more and more of an international stage for the entire industry.”
“The excellence of the participating brands, a new setting and display concept for each edition, and an extraordinary location such as the gardens of Palazzo Corsini are strong points that make Fragranze a global experience which makes it possible to make direct contact – in a unique way – with the world and history of fragrances. And then there is the program of events that transform Florence into the capital of modern artistic perfumery.”
