Naperville store to be 5th Nordstrom Rack in Chicago area

Seattle-based Nordstrom Inc a leading fashion specialty retailer, announced that it will open a 38,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack store at Springbrook Prairie Pavilion in Naperville, Ill, in fall 2008. The new 270,000-square-foot Springbrook shopping center is scheduled to open in spring 2008.
Nordstrom Rack is the company's off-price retail division offering savings of 30 to 75 percent on apparel, accessories and items for the home for the entire family including one of the most extensive collections of name-brand shoes available.
Nordstrom Rack merchandise is made up of products from Nordstrom stores and the company's online store at Nordstrom.com, as well as special purchase items.
The Nordstrom Rack store will be the retailer's fifth Rack store in the greater Chicago area. Nordstrom also operates Rack stores at Woodfield Village Green in Schaumburg, Village Square in Northbrook, The Shops at Oakbrook Place in Oakbrook, and The Shops at State and Washington in Chicago.

"We think there's a great opportunity here to serve customers in the western Chicago counties. We hope that this new store is a more convenient location for our customers in and around the Naperville area."
