True Religion Apparel Inc announced the lease signing for its newest branded store, which will be located in the Ala Moana Center in Honolulu, HI. Featuring the entire collection of True Religion apparel including the expanding line of denim, sportswear, and a full range of licensed product, the 1,270 square-foot store is scheduled to open in Summer 2008.
Ala Moana Center is Hawaii's premier shopping, entertainment, and dining destination with over 250 stores and nearly 70 dining options. Currently, the Center offers a diverse collection of local, boutique and national retailers including Neiman Marcus, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany, Prada, Emporio Armani, Chanel and Gucci.
Upon the completion of its two-year retail expansion project in March 2008, the Center will also offer Hawaii's first full-line Nordstrom department store, along with over 30 new merchants in a two-level retail concourse. Ala Moana Center is owned and managed by General Growth Properties, Inc.
"As one of the world's largest outdoor shopping centers, and attracting over 42 million locals and visitors annually, we believe the Ala Moana Center is a premier retail location for us to introduce our branded stores to the Hawaii market and to gain more exposure for the True Religion brand," said Jeffrey Lubell, chairman and chief executive officer.
"The Center boasts sales in excess of $1,300 per-square-foot and over $1 billion in annual sales," said Michael Buckley, president. "With exceptional financial metrics and an ideal location, we believe the Center possesses qualities we value most when strategically selecting sites for our branded stores."
