Ross Stores donates to California wildfire relief efforts

Ross Stores Inc announced that it is making a $100,000 cash contribution to the American Red Cross to assist in disaster relief efforts in Southern California.
In addition, all Ross Dress for Less and dd's DISCOUNTS stores throughout the country will offer customers the ability to make donations at their cash registers to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, which enables the organization to respond to thousands of disasters across the country each year, disasters like the California wildfires.
All 121 Ross and 14 dd's DISCOUNTS stores in the greater Los Angeles and San Diego metropolitan markets are open for business and will offer an additional 10% discount on any purchase made with Red Cross client assistance cards.
Michael Balmuth, Vice Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, "California is home to Ross Stores and our largest state. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to our associates and neighbors in the region who may have suffered losses due to the fires."
