Tiffany & Co the internationally renowned jeweler announced plans to open a store in Dusseldorf, Germany, in the fall of 2008.
The approximately 3,200-square-foot store will occupy two levels at Koenigsallee 18, a prominent location on the city's premier street for luxury shopping.
"We look forward to opening a TIFFANY & CO store in Dusseldorf, which is one of Germany's most exciting luxury retail markets," said Cesare Settepassi, vice president and managing director, Tiffany & Co. Europe.
"Our prime location on the Koenigsalle perfectly positions us to introduce our heritage of quality, craftsmanship and superior service to residents and visitors."
The jeweler will offer an array of renowned TIFFANY & CO. collections, including the world's finest diamonds in dazzling engagement rings and jewels in platinum and eighteen-karat gold settings; rare and lustrous pearls; the signature designs of Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso, Jean Schlumberger and Frank Gehry; watches; accessories and gifts.
The store will be designed with a honed travertine and flamed granite façade. The spacious interior will feature signature details of the jeweler's famous New York flagship store, including ebonized Makore and mahogany woods, brushed stainless steel showcases, private sales salon and interior staircase.
Dusseldorf will be the jeweler's fourth location in Germany. Tiffany also operates stores in Munich, Frankfurt and Hamburg.
