Statistics indicate that in the first three quarters of 2007, the turnover of Adidas Group increased by 5 percent and the profit before the tax was up 11 percent. Company's one of the brand REEBOK touched a sales volume of 1.77 billion euros, saw a rise of 2 percent. Only TaylorMade-Adidas Golf sale dropped slightly in this period.
Although sales were sluggish in the American market, it grew by 5 percent in the European market. In Russia, Turkey and in China sale realized a rapid growth, up by 35, 40 and 45 percent respectively.
Adidas regard China as a potential market. The Group targets to achieve a sale turnover of 1 billion euros by 2010.
For the coming year, Adidas anticipates good sales. Till now, the company's orders for 2008 have recorded a growth of 16 percent compared to this year. However, for this rapid growth, company experts give credits to the two big sports pageants Beijing Olympic Games and the European Soccer Champion Cup which are due in the next year.
