Swedish brand introduces edgy - race-driven ski apparel

In winter 08/09, sports apparel pioneer Craft premiers with a cutting-edge, technical alpine skiing collection that goes beyond the norm. Building on its extremely successful bike, running and cross-country lines, the Swedish brand now introduces edgy, race-driven ski apparel.

With former worldcup star Fredrik Nyberg as a member of the product development board, the new collection features fast, performance-oriented garments with signature Craft positioning: stripped down to its bare essentials – Craft alpine wear is raised to race.

Swedish sportswear specialist Craft presents a brand new alpine skiing collection in winter 08/09. Headlined 'Raised to Race', the collection consists of passionate, performance-oriented pieces with a strong clarity of direction. Craft targets ambitious athletes who expect the maximum performance of their apparel. The fast forward garments feature a tailor made pre-shape for racing, stretch panels as well as protection inserts.

The Swedish brand profits from the expertise of former worldcup racer Fredrik Nyberg, who has been recruited as member of the product development team. Craft has also signed young slalom star Jens Byggmark as marketing and product development support for the baselayer segment.

Byggmark stems from the tiny Lappland village Tärnaby, which is also home of Ingemar Stenmark and Anja Pärson. Its skiing club is the most successful in the world – and also a cooperation partner for Craft Alpine.
