Walking Company comes to Manhattan

The Walking Company, the world's largest specialty retailer of comfort footwear, announced that it will open its flagship location at 551 Madison Avenue in New York City. The new location will feature a modern store design, an integrated comfort technology system, and an unparalleled selection of the best comfort footwear from around the world.

The Madison Avenue location, scheduled to open in April of 2009, will feature the world's largest selection of comfort footwear from more than 40 premium brands including exclusive product lines and styles from brands like ECCO, Dansko, UGG, Pikolinos, Earth, BeautiFeel and MBT.

In addition, the Madison Avenue Flagship will be equipped with multiple comfort technology stations providing state of the art digital foot analysis and linking customers to over one million pairs of premium comfort shoes.
