When designer Marcia Maizel-Clarke recognized the need for jewelry that speaks, she founded Dogeared Jewels & Gifts in 1991 and created the original word jewelry and charms. The response to these word jewels and the success of the Make A Wish series of silk thread necklaces gave birth to a family of products that capture the magic of words, symbols, wishes and dreams.
