Tommy Hilfiger is pleased to announce the February 2010 exclusive launch of its limited-edition footwear capsule collection, created in collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation and Artestar LLC, at the Colette concept store in Paris, France. The capsule collection includes sneakers and rain boots for women and children as well as sneakers for men and features artwork from the late artist, Keith Haring. The capsule collection will officially launch in September 2010 in footwear specialty stores as well as select department stores across Europe.

“I am excited to partner with Colette and offer its customers an exclusive preview of the footwear collection before the official launch in the fall,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Renowned for its conceptual ingenuity, Colette is the perfect partner for this collection, so I am thrilled that they will support our collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation.”

“I am delighted to showcase the Tommy Hilfiger footwear capsule collection, featuring Keith Haring's iconic and colorful artwork, at Colette,” said Sarah Lerfel, co-founder of Colette. “I commend Tommy Hilfiger's collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation, through which they will release the limited edition footwear collection.”

Colette will exclusively launch the Tommy Hilfiger footwear capsule collection in their Paris concept store as of February 4, 2010, where the collection will be available for a two-week period. The capsule collection officially launches in footwear specialty stores as well as select department stores across Europe in September 2010.

Keith Haring was an artist and activist who frequently used his art to speak about social issues. He was one of the best known among the young artists, filmmakers, performers and musicians whose work responded to urban street culture of the 80s. Diagnosed with AIDS in 1988, Haring established the Keith Haring Foundation in 1989 to provide funding and imagery to AIDS organizations, and to ensure that his philanthropic legacy would continue indefinitely.

The Keith Haring Foundation's mission is to sustain, expand and protect the legacy of Haring's art and his ideals. The Foundation supports organizations that assist underprivileged children, as well as organizations engaged in education, research and care with respect to AIDS and HIV. Keith Haring's estate is represented by Artestar LLC, an international brand licensing and consulting firm, who specializes in fine art, fashion and design brands.

In December 1995, Tommy Hilfiger established the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation to help empower America's youth. Since then, the Foundation's objective has expanded to developing and supporting programs and partnerships that help build a healthy and civil society by supporting education, physical well being and cultural programs.

Over the years the Corporate Foundation has supported the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation, Race to Erase MS, The One 4 All Foundation, UNICEF and Breast Health International. In September 2009, the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation donated over $2 million to Millennium Promise, a non-profit organization founded in 2005 to help end extreme poverty. The partnership marks the globalization of the Tommy Hilfiger Corporate Foundation's philanthropic efforts.
