Ogie Kanogie to unveil spring women's clothing line at WWD MAGIC

Ogie Kanogie adds an exciting spark and drama to wearable, comfortable, machine washable clothes with eye-catching colors, textures and styling.

The exciting 2010 Spring/Summer and Fall line of contemporary clothing will be unveiled at WWD MAGIC 2010 in Las Vegas February 16 through 18.

Ogies by Ogie Kanogie are full length hooded coats and sweater coats, short jackets, body hugging long sleeved hoodie mini dresses, hoodie tops and more, all made in Los Angeles of eco-friendly, machine washable materials.

“OgieKanogie is all about style, texture, comfort and convenience,” says designer and co-owner Massiel Bueno-Stup. “I'm always searching out fabrics that are going to make a woman look and feel fabulous, whether it's a wild, pink faux fur like our Tokyo coat, or a more subtle knit like the Miami sweater coat.

"We also have fabulous dresses and tops. Our little black dress, the Ibiza, is a long sleeve, body hugging hoodie that's short, flirty and so comfortable you hardly know you're wearing anything."

Coats, sweater coats, jackets, tops and dresses Ogies are “grab-and-go-anywhere” wardrobe essentials. Whatever their mood, whatever the season, whatever the event, women can open their closets, grab the right Ogie and know they'll look and feel great. "We launched our online store, OgieKanogie.com, in 2008, and opened a storefront in Malibu, CA in 2009,“ says Massiel. “The reaction to our clothing has been phenomenal. Women love our styles, fabrics and the fact that they can just throw our items in the wash. Our customers are everyday moms, young singles out for a good time, celebrities heading off to various events, and travel lovers who can fold up our Ogies and know they'll come out looking great.”

Ogie Kanogie owners Jamie Hormel and Massiel Bueno, friends since childhood, are proud to offer superior quality and style at contemporary pricing for today's market. Their goal is to design women's clothes that appeal to a wide range of ages and tastes, that are affordable, and that are made in the USA of eco-friendly materials, including faux furs, faux suede, recycled polyesters and organic cottons.

When Massiel is not working you can find the avid surfer at the beach. After catching early morning waves she reaches for her favorite Ogie, the Malibu--perfect for a post-surf warm-up. Massiel is the mother of two and lives in Malibu, CA.

Jamie Hormel lives in the desert but freezes all summer long in super-charged air conditioning everywhere she seems to go. Her favorite traveling Ogie is the Park City full-length coat, which has kept her cozy everywhere from Africa to Costa Rica to France and beyond. Jamie is the mother of three, and has five dogs, a pot bellied pig, two miniature donkeys, and a variety of horses. She lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
