Specialty retailer Zumiez Jan sales zoom 46.3%

Leading specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, Zumiez Inc announced that total net sales for the four-week period ended January 28, 2006 increased 46.3 percent to $12.9 million, compared to $8.8 million for the four-week period ended January 29, 2005.
The company's comparable store sales increased 23.2 percent for the past month, versus a comparable store sales increase of 17.2 percent in the year ago period.
Zumiez is a leading specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories.
Company stores cater to young men and women between ages 12-24, focusing on skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, motocross and BMX.
Company currently operates 174 stores.
