  • Angelina Jolie's fashion label Atelier Jolie will collaborate with French luxury brand Chloe for its inaugural collection.
  • Co-designed by Jolie and Chloe's Gabriela Hearst, the capsule collection celebrates women-to-women connections.
  • The range uses Fair Trade artisan work and lower-impact materials, highlighting fluid silhouettes and tactile details.
Fashion house Atelier Jolie, which was recently founded by Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, will be teaming up with Richemont-owned French luxury brand Chloe for the former label’s first collection. The offering is co-designed by Jolie and Chloe creative director Gabriela Hearst.

The capsule collection spotlights authentic women-to-women connections and honours both brands’ respective commitments to improving social and environmental sustainability with greater transparency and accountability, Atelier Jolie and Chloe said in a joint press release.

Parts of the collection showcase the work of artisans from a Fair Trade enterprise while multiple looks make use of deadstock and lower-impact materials. Drawing on Chloe’s network of international makers and reinforced by its B Corp certification, coupled with Atelier Jolie’s comprehensive founding principles regarding ethical and sustainable practice, the capsule collection incorporates a higher percentage of lower-impact materials than any previous collection from the Maison.

Chloe x Atelier Jolie is defined by fluid silhouettes and tactile details. With an eveningwear focus, it has a timeless aesthetic inspired by perennial pieces from Angelina Jolie’s own well-loved wardrobe, added the release.

“From the moment I heard about Angelina’s vision for Atelier Jolie, I believed in it. It is a way to elevate others through the beauty of garment-making and her deep respect for the environment. It’s an honour for me that Chloe will be the first collaborator for Atelier Jolie, as both have high ideals for the betterment of our species. That is the reason why I love both Angelina and Chloe so deeply,” Hearst said.

“Very few luxury brands are a certified B Corp. It was important to me to work with Chloe, one of the first luxury brands to be a B Corp. It has been a privilege to design with Gabriela Hearst, and I hope all women will feel comfortable and beautiful in this capsule collection. My earnings from this collaboration will be invested in establishing apprenticeships for tailors and artisans at Atelier Jolie,” Jolie said in an Instagram post by Atelier Jolie.
