While the Indian Fashion Week is very creative, international platforms are better organised with a keen focus on the designer's narrative and giving them opportunities to showcase to prospective buyers on a bigger scale, according to Sweta Agarwal, owner of the A Humming Way (AHW) label, who finds a huge difference between fashion shows in India and abroad.

Agarwal believes the technology used there is more advanced, which makes it very easy for designers to coordinate and organise the music, light, styling, make-up and other systems.

The make-up artists operate at a different level, the work is much better than expectations, and the liaison teams and the organisers know their work, making participation much smoother, she Fibre2Fashion in an interview.
