Fur in Style - Fur & Fashion Frankfurt is on the brink to present the 2006 fair under this motto. From March 9 to 12, Frankfurt will again become the gathering place for the international community of the fur industry.
58th international fair for garments made of furs, leathers and material mixes aims to focus foremost on growth markets in Central Europe, Russia and the Far East.
Fair Director Marianne Erletz's team is currently gearing up with plenty of enthusiasm and optimism for the big event. Experience, professionalism, excellent service and an outstanding infrastructure – that's what the world's oldest fur trade fair stands for today. The organizers are planning to use 14,000 square meters of floor space in hall 9.1 of the Frankfurt fair ground.
The fair will feature offerings from all trade players – skin dealers, dressers and deyers, and manufacturers of fur, leather and mixed material clothing, accessories, machine, tool and service providers; as well as trade publishers.
The organizers expect more than 7,000 trade visitors, who are free to not only order but also purchase directly. The focus of this year's marketing activities is on addressing the rapidly growing markets of Eastern Europe and Asia, above all Russia and China.
Alongside pursuing an aggressive advertising campaign, the promoters are specifically targeting and inviting high-potential buyers. Full-service travel packages are aimed to attract interest and encourage visitors to come to Frankfurt.
