Zimbabwe President launches R.G Mugabe apparel label

Robert Gabriel Mugabe, the 87-year-old Zimbabwean President who has been ruling the country for the last 32 years, has put his signature on a new fashion label in his bid to reach out to younger voters.
The R.G Mugabe label from the House of Gushungo will feature various distinctive collections of basic apparels. Female tops, formal shirts, winter jackets and caps, golf t-shirts and other clothing items will have Mugabe's signature embedded on them.
By introducing the President's own signature label, the House of Gushungo is aiming to redefine Zimbabwe's fashion industry that is mostly dominated by foreign apparel brands.
The House expects its contemporary R.G Mugabe line to appeal to modern men and women as it offers comfort, style and a splash of attitude.
