Fashion designer Lilli Jahilo became the first Estonian whose work will be featured in the main program of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin 2012 during the showcase of Baltic Fashion Catwalk. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is taking place from January 18 to 21.
Jahilo's designs will be showcased on January 20 at 20.00, on a catwalk placed under the Brandenburg Gate, with an estimated 700 guests attending the event. “Such an invitation is great recognition to any designer,” said Jahilo.
She will be presenting her most recent fall-winter collection, which has a strong emphasis on coats and evening dresses. Hand-made embroideries have a central focus.
