Fashion designer Lilli Jahilo became the first Estonian whose work will be featured in the main program of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin 2012 during the showcase of Baltic Fashion Catwalk. Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin is taking place from January 18 to 21.

Jahilo's designs will be showcased on January 20 at 20.00, on a catwalk placed under the Brandenburg Gate, with an estimated 700 guests attending the event. “Such an invitation is great recognition to any designer,” said Jahilo.

She will be presenting her most recent fall-winter collection, which has a strong emphasis on coats and evening dresses. Hand-made embroideries have a central focus.

MB Fashion Week Berlin is one of the most anticipated events of the European fashion industry, giving designers from all over the world the opportunity to present their work on an international platform in front of hundreds of fashion professionals and journalists.

Lilli Jahilo is an award-winning Estonian fashion designer. Her signature style is uniquely feminine, balancing between minimalistic Nordic aesthetic and the lavish colors and handicraft of local traditions.
