Italian high-fashion designer Laura Biagiotti has presented her womenswear Autumn/Winter 2013 collection at a show in Milan.
Dubbed by the New York Times as the “Queen of Cashmere”, Laura has given an oriental feel to her new collection with fur and gold embroidery embellishments on her woolens.
Her collection also had Byzantine inspiration and was observed in silk prints that replicated the mosaic floors of St. Mark's Basilica in Venice.
The showcased apparels included several fur vests, kaftan gowns and gilded capes.
Beading, gilded embroidery, delicate pleating and ruching for evening gowns and tops enhanced the value of collection.
Even a simple knit dress looked marvelous outfit when it was enriched with embroidery and beading.
