Ermenegildo Zegna declares finalists of 2012 wool awards

Paolo Zegna, Chairman of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group, is pleased to announce the finalists of the 2012 Wool Awards competition.

The three finalists – from whom the first place winner will be selected – of the Ermenegildo Zegna Vellus Aureum Trophy are the Millbank farm (Walcha, NSW), the Rowensville farm (St Helens, VIC) and the Windradeen farm (Mudgee, NSW) and the finalists of the Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Trophy are the Glen Stuart farm (Deddington, TAS), the Warrane farm (Armidale, NSW) and the Windradeen farm (Mudgee, NSW).

The competitions are open to Australia and New Zealand wool growers and fleeces.

The awards ceremony will be hosted in the presence of Paolo Zegna during a gala dinner, on 2nd April at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne.

The Ermenegildo Zegna Group has been encouraging wool growers to improve the fineness and quality of their wool for close to 50 years through the annual Ermenegildo Zegna Wool Award programs.
