Pictograms at each stand will inform visitors about the ethical practices of exhibitors, like recycling, use of sustainable materials or specific expertise (production techniques and traditional skills), fair trade and social projects. These pictograms will help buyers to get a clearer picture of the particular characteristics of each firm.
“The offer has become increasingly diverse and buyers have little time to carry out their purchasing: we have decided on this segmentation according to product family, already tried out at the shows that were held at Tapis Rouge, in order to make their work easier,” explains Isabelle Quéhé, exhibition director.
One of the innovations at this show will be the trends forum. It concentrates on four areas.
- Upcycling: for work specialising in recycling
- Precious Skills: to showcase new products that use particular skills like embroidery, weaving, weave printing
- Nature: favouring use of materials that do not require many chemical substances or much water
- Made with Love: showcases ethno-chic articles that have been made as part of social projects.
