Lisa Ray auctions Satya Paul saree to aid cancer charity

Lisa Ray, the beautiful Indo-Canadian actress, model and philanthropist, has put up her opulently embellished wedding outfit for auction to support the 'Living with Cancer' charity organization.
Born to a Polish mother and an Indian father, the cross cultural social activist walked down the aisle, donning a gorgeous saree created by the premier Indian designer label Satya Paul, on October 20, 2012 at California’s Napa Valley.
The doe-eyed beauty’s wedding outfit features a pastel pink coloured saree with a heavily sequinned border set in white and golden hues, teamed up with an equally stunning crystal embedded intricately embroidered blouse.
The exquisite wedding saree and blouse has been put up for online auction on Satya Paul’s official Facebook page.
The 40-year-old performer, in collaboration with Satya Paul has also launched an exclusive collection of cocktail sarees ‘Lisa Ray for Satya Paul’ recently.
Lisa, who is now a cancer survivor, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in the year 2009.
