NTC extends date of 'Young Designer Hunt' till Feb 11

National Textile Corporation Limited (NTC) has extended the date for submitting applications for ‘NTC Young Designer Hunt’ till February 11, 2013.

Earlier in December, NTC had announced commencement of the Young Designer Hunt, the biggest search for the most talented designers across India.

Giving reasons behind the postponement, a statement said, “This has been done to cater to the demands of the participants. To select better designers among the good ones is a tough job, and to present better than the best designs, is indeed a more difficult task. To present innovative and fine designs, participants need some more time to acquire perfection in their designs”.

This designer hunt launched by NTC will be monitored by India’s ace global designer Raghavendra Rathore.

He will not only be supervising the hunt but will personally train the young designers. He is best known for his diversity of design which creates the right mix of aesthetics, fashion and tradition.

NTC is all set to add a new dimension to the rich tradition of Indian textile industry. This hunt will not only set the right tone for the organization but also help the young talents in bringing out their new creative ideas in this industry.

Through this initiative, many young designers will get an opportunity to reach higher heights.

This designer hunt will not only help the young designers in showcasing their creativity but will also help NTC in fulfilling its commitment of transforming itself into a world class, eco-friendly, integrated textile corporation.

The Young Designer Hunt will choose designers that will work with NTC in its new global retail offering: Brand India.

This is a golden opportunity for emerging designers to start off and take forward their career in the industry.
