It is an elusive story, a figment of a designer's wild imagination, the whirlwind of bikers are riding in a group of many. Sounds produced by their bikes inject me with sudden energy: their biker garb enthrals me even more — the look of tanned leather and the body-fitted bottoms with calf-length boots. My designer imagination interpreted a war - replacing the horses with the powerful vintage bikes, the alloy wheels with the strong shields and the metallic body suits with the modern day leather attires.

Remembering how each Maharaja would fight with his army as gangs against the other to conquer kingdoms and relating it to the present day scenario. Hence, my collection amalgamates the Biker garb and the centuries old warrior dresses quite closely. On the basis of the above theory, my collection describes the best possible blend between my Rajputana heavily panelled garments with the various patterns of leather. The next 15 minutes of action would depict the fading away of a warrior cult into a peace-loving clan.

About Samant Chauhan:

His line remains simple, basic, clean-cut, natural and functional, yet contemporary and he loves working with natural fibres. Fashion to him is not just a popular trend, but a very basic form of representation that is always conceptual. He strongly believes in exploring his native Bhagalpur skill working with the weavers in innovating new fabrics and newer designs. His patent colours remain very earthy — the shades relating to nature. The label, `SAMANT CHAUHAN' has come a long way selling at several high-profile stores globally.
