Anand Bhushan line traces childhood to adulthood at WLFW
Mar '13
The blocks of life are built on the foundation of CM earliest memories. We carry traits from childhood into adulthood, but as we grow, our experiences start tinting our vibrant mental labyrinth with shades of grey, that continue to darken with time.

His loss of innocence is a natural process and is a strong textural reference at our studio this season. Surfaces inspired by our Lego blocks ore created in a gunpowder-dusted palette - pewter and anthracite move into charcoal and black.

As though denoting the thickening of our skins, tough leather is used plentifully - as yardage and also as broken down textural components. The memory of 'man's best friend' binds it all together with our print story, assuring that in the midst of mourning and cynicism, there exist a nostalgic escape. The shapes are clean and streamlined as a new, mature Anand Bhushan woman emerges.

Anand Bhushan Is an Indian design label far fashion and textiles skirted by a Delhi based designer Anand Bhushan. The designer is an award winning post graduate from the National institute of Design, Ahmedabad and a graduate from The National institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, but more than his formal education informs his training and experience as a designer.

An understanding of where fashion and textile has been and where It may be going is vital to Anand's technique and to his creative process. The label Anand Bhushan makes fashion creative but also label and continues to cultivate the modern, edgy take on upscale dressing which the designer has become known for.
