Zac Posen & Wolford pair for Fall/Winter 2006/07 leg & bodywear

Feb '06
Legwear company Wolford AG informs that Designer Zac Posen join forces for a stunning first collection with ten styles for Fall/Winter 2006/07.

After the tremendous success of their first collaboration presenting the tights, “Imperial Legs”, last winter, the two creative parties have joined together for another coup.

Zac Posen for Wolford celebrates the timeless beauty of a woman's silhouette. Embracing a palette of midnight blue, black and blood red, ZAC POSEN for WOLFORD presents a luxurious legwear and bodywear collection with LYCRA.

“Wolford is the perfect combination of precision and imagination. Our approach to pleasing the senses is quite similar. Both brands fuse tangible luxuries with hidden pleasures. This synergy made the experience of working with Wolford so enjoyable and I absolutely adore Bregenz, Austria”, comments Zac Posen on the new partnership.

Holger Dahmen, CEO of Wolford says, “The handwriting of a designer can turn a nice piece into a stunning piece. Zac Posen has an incredibly refined feeling for the feminine beauty and created fantastic designs derived from our high-tech knitting technology using Wolford's luxurious materials.” The co-operation for the limited design edition will run for four seasons until Spring/Summer 2008.

The Gamine, Accordian, Lattice Lace and the Playing Card “Z” legwear collection features lace stockings with an intricate constellation of pinhole openings, tromp l'oeil lingerie, and a flirtatious playing card motif.
