Footwear association Lefaso members honored by Ind Ministry

Footwear enterprises which followed the Labour Laws, ensured proper working conditions, wages and social welfare of their employees were honored by the Deputy Industry Minister Nguyen Xuan Thuy.
Instituted by Vietnam Leather and Footwear Association (LEFASO) and Center for Development and Integration (CDI) this award is sponsored by the Industry Ministry.
Among the 30 odd members of LEFASO, 13 won this annual prize for the year 2005 prize as they implemented the Government policies on labor and discharged social responsibilities.
Apart from achieving significant increase in the production, application and implementation of social development initiatives like improving working conditions, protecting environment etc were also taken in to consideration while rewarding the enterprises.
