The Cato Corporation declares quarterly dividend

The Cato Corporation announced that its Board of Directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of $0.13 per share.
The dividend will be payable on March 27th 2006 to shareholders of record of the Corporation at the close of business on March 13th 2006. At the closing market price on February 23rd 2006, the current dividend represents an annualized yield of 2.5 percent.
