Deckers revenue boosts backed by robust sales

Designer and marketer of fashion-oriented footwear Deckers Outdoor Corporation announced record financial results for the fourth quarter and fiscal year ended December 31, 2005.

For the quarter ended December 31, 2005, net sales increased 22.6 percent to a record of $91.0 million versus $74.2 million in the same period last year.

Net earnings for the quarter increased to $12.1 million, compared to net earnings of $9.2 million last year, and earnings per diluted share increased 30.6 percent to $0.94, versus earnings per diluted share of $0.72 in the fourth quarter of 2004.
