Uttar Pradesh Khadi and Village Industries Board (UPKVIB) is planning schemes to promote designer leather footwear and garments in the country.
UPKVIB is conducting a leather exposition at the retail store, Kasturba, in Kaiserbagh, Lucknow.
A special feature was planned here yesterday when best leather garments, footwear and accessories including handbags and purses were displayed.
Ramesh Chandra Mishra, CEO, explains that the industry is facing tough competition from all fronts and has to keep up with the latest trends and fashions to survive in the global market.
The exhibition showcases wide range of products like stylish trendy shoes, chappals, handbags, jackets and so on for all ages.
