A 1,000 strong audience were in attendance as young fashion students put on their latest show, a celebration of the colour black, sponsored by McArthurGlen.

Following the success of their previous involvement, McArthurGlen was the official partner of the event which took place on the 4th April at the historic Grand Palais in Lille, near McArthurGlen Roubaix.

The student association Talons Aiguilles (high heels) promotes young designers from the North-East region of France and across Europe through its annual fashion show, now in its 20th year.

The partnership endorses young design talent, allowing them to take part in a large scale fashion show, under professional working conditions.

The evening began with a fashion show dedicated to the young designers of Talons Aiguilles, with the theme of 'Idylls'. Using only the colour black, the runway was graced by models showcasing the designer's collections in three categories: womenswear, menswear and ready- to - wear as well as Haute Couture.

After the young designer's show, McArthurGlen's Luxembourg, Troyes and Roubaix centres put on an exclusive fashion show. The 1,000 guests at the event, including key members of the press, were amazed at the brands including Maje, Tara Jarmon, Escada and Harryland all showcasing their stand-out black pieces that are available at McArthurGlen.

As part of the sponsorship, McArthurGlen also gifted guests with exclusive goodie bags, which included the brand new Spring/Summer Lookbook. VIP guests were also treated to gifts from Bérénice, and Lindt which proved a huge hit.
