The just concluded edition of MAGICAL DAY by FIMI, an international trade fair which specializes in children’s communion and occasion wear, featured products from nearly 44 brands belonging to Spain, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands.

Held at Madrid’s Real Fábrica de Tapices (Royal Tapestry Factory), the three-day-long event attracted more than 2500 local and foreign trade visitors.

The fair featured latest collections from labels like Amalio Rubio, Ana Claudia by Maria Joy, Blue and Pink, Bellisima, Calamaro, Cap Ras, Cemaros, Cora, Charo Creations, Creations Marigar, De los Angeles and Devout & Lomba.

Other than exhibiting apparel lines, the event also staged a catwalk parade showcasing 2014 trends from renowned brands, such as Barcarola, Carmy, First Light Pink, Magara Collection, Elena Rubio, les Enfants de l'Eden by Hortensia Maeso, Cemaros, Miquel Suay, Larrana, Marla, Varones, Pilar del Toro, Francis Montesinos, Hannibal Laguna, Devota & Lomba and Rubio Kids.

Designer Elena Rubio’s first-ever communion line titled ‘My Day’ was inspired by the early twentieth century French countryside. Made from 100 percent handmade natural cotton, the gowns featured delicately embroidered Chantilly lace strips and simple cuts.
