Over 100 designers to show summery lines at Caribbean FW

The forthcoming edition of Caribbean Fashionweek (CFW) 2013 will showcase a range of summery lines from several new and seasoned designers of the tropical region.

Slated to be held from June 6 to 10, 2013, in Kingston, Jamaica, the event, which is entering its 13th year now, is an initiative of Kingsley Cooper, the executive chairman of Pulse Investments Ltd and chairman of Jamaica’s Entertainment Advisory Board.

Highlighting the very best in Caribbean fashion and modelling talents, the pre-eminent regional showcase of fashion will feature catwalk presentations by more than 100 designers.

Popular names like Sandra Kennedy, Barry Moncrieffe, Cedella Marley, Claudia Pegus, Meiling, Pauline Bellamy, Jessica Ogden, Nana Boateng, Kelly Jade Nichols and Gavin Douglas are going to display their resort, swimwear, men’s and women’s collections at the glitzy event.

In addition to the spectacular runway events, workshops and exhibition spaces, the CFW schedule will also include individual performances from international singers like Kelly Rowland and Sheila E.
