Calley Gonzalez to debut S/S 14 line at two fashion weeks

"The Victorian Dolls collection is inspired by the Victorian era with elements derived from the steampunk genre. This collection will stay true to the classic elegance Couture by Calley is known for, yet it is a modern take on this style of fashion with steampunk edge," said Gonzalez, designer.

Gonzalez debuts her Victorian Dolls collection at FG Fashion Week Sept. 6 through 8 in the Manhattan Art District at the Helen Mills Event Space, 137 W. 26th St. in New York.

This collection will also be showcased during ONS 2013 San Antonio Fashion Week Oct. 21 through 26 at the San Antonio Museum of Art, 200 W. Jones Ave.

Couture by Calley launched in 2010 after Gonzalez retired from the U.S. Air Force and received her degree in fashion design and merchandising. Gonzalez is founder of San Antonio Fashion Industry Alliance, an organization designed to support San Antonio fashion industry talent, including professionals in beauty and photography.

Couture by Calley also works with private labels in design and consulting services from bridal to resort wear. Gonzalez' designs have been published in British Vogue, Australian Wedding Guide and Examiner.com. Her work has also been seen on the runway during Atlanta International Fashion Week, Dallas Fashion Week, Houston Bridal Expo and Ultimate Wedding Showcase in New York.

Based in San Antonio, Couture by Calley specializes in women's wear, custom design as well as ready-to-wear collections. Couture by Calley's studio is located at 925 W. Russell Pl. in the Hausmann Millworks studios.
