Cardboard doll inspires Andrés Caballero collection

Andrés Caballero honors again his country of origin, Mexico. Between flowers and glittering motifs, the collection takes inspiration from a cardboard doll named Lupita, traditional Mexican toy represented as a young lady in colored swimsuit decorated with hand-painted floral patterns, white socks and black shoes.

In his Spring/Summer collection, San Andrès Milano evokes a relaxed allure, bright and above all joyful, mixing respectability and impertinence; the silhouette becomes soft with overlapping blocks of colors and materials.

A contrasting balance between pastel shades and shocking tones pervades the whole collection, where decorations in the form of rose or kaleidoscope embroideries seem to emerge strongly from the fabric, giving vitality to oversized coats and jackets, worn with baggy pants and male shirts or pleated silk dress with graphic games.
