Footwear News spotlights Fashion House recent license deal with Isaac Mizrahi

The Fashion House Inc, a designer and manufacturer of women's fashion footwear for the world's most distinguished designers, informed that its recently announced exclusive worldwide licensing agreement with celebrated designer Isaac Mizrahi has been featured in Footwear News, a leading footwear industry publication.

The Footwear News article, published March 17th 2006, spotlighted the company's exclusive licensing agreement to develop and distribute footwear under two Isaac Mizrahi labels; the currently available Isaac Isaac Mizrahi line and a new couture collection.

"I look at it as a way to expand my shoe business," Mizrahi is quoted in the article.

According to the Footwear News article, "The move signals another stage in Mizrahi's comeback. Since closing his designer ready-to-wear business in 1998, Mizrahi has been plotting his return stage by stage, launching a clothing collection for mass retailer Target and a custom line for Bergdorf Goodman in 2003. Last year, he became the host of the 'Isaac' show on the Style Network and has been getting both praise and criticism for his role as a commentator on the red-carpet circuit for the E! network."

John Hanna, President and CEO of The Fashion House, was also quoted in the Footwear News article. "We share the goal of making fashion fun and approachable for all women and know that we will be a successful team," he said.

The Fashion House's first Isaac Isaac Mizrahi collection will debut to the trade at the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) show in June 2006. The Isaac Mizrahi footwear collection will be a new couture line targeted at premier upscale stores and will start at $500 retail. That line will launch in 2007.
