Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week to be held from Oct 9

The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) announced the dates for the 22nd edition of Asia’s biggest fashion trade event; the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring - Summer 2014 to be scheduled from Oct 9th - 13th, 2013 in New Delhi.

A much-awaited event of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), the apex body of fashion designers in the country, provides an outstanding platform for idea exchange and trend forecasting for the forthcoming season.

Each season of the WIFW promises five days of magnificent creativity, original ideation and spectacular showcasing. With each season witnessing an increase in interest and participation from established and up-coming designers, buyers and affiliates, the WIFW is growing in stature.

Announcing the dates for the WIFW SS 2014, Mr. Sunil Sethi, President, FDCI said, “We are very excited to announce the dates of the WIFW Spring-Summer 2014. WIFW is a great platform for both leading and up-coming designers to showcase their exquisite collections to domestic and international buyers, media, and fashion connoisseurs. After a very successful Autumn-Winter edition this year, we are looking forward to an even more successful edition of Spring-Summer.”

Mr. Atul Chand, Divisional Chief Executive, ITC’s Lifestyle Retailing Business Division also added, “The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is India’s most celebrated and illustrious fashion event. The participation by the Indian fashion fraternity and recognition by the global fashion industry has strengthened this platform over the years amplifying the business of fashion.

"Wills Lifestyle has always been at the fore-front of Indian fashion and we look forward to presenting another glorious confluence of premier designers at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014.”
