As a part of its latest capsule collection, Japanese-inspired brand tokidoki has released a range of apparels, accessories and also toy figurines inspired by German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Besides three toy figurines of the creative helm of brands like Chanel and Fendi, the collection titled ‘Tokidoki x Karl Lagerfeld’ also features a range of t-shirts, printed jeans, vest tops, leggings, iphone covers and scarfs having the same caricatures printed on them..

Italian artist Simone Legno, the co-founder of tokidoki, worked in close association with Mr. Lagerfeld to create the new collection.

The new collection is available at Karl Lagerfeld concept stores in Paris, Berlin and Amsterdam, as well as on Net-a-Porter.

Mr. Lagerfeld, who is known for his unconventional out-of-the-box styles, launched his maiden eponymous-label store in Paris in February, 2013.

Since debuting in 2005, Tokidoki, which translates as “sometimes” in Japanese, has amassed a cult-like following for its larger-than-life characters and emerged as a sought-after global lifestyle brand.

The innovative company is known not only for its eye-popping aesthetic and criminally cute characters, but also for its partnerships with the likes of mega brands such as, Hello Kitty, Karl Lagerfeld, LeSportsac, Barbie, Onitsuka Tiger, Marvel and others.
